Bomgaars is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual with Cashier and retail experience to work evenings and weekends. This position offers an opportunity to be a productive team member while providing excellent customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Cashier and retail experience preferred
- Product knowledge
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work evenings, 4:00 pm to close and flexible weekend schedules (shift premium paid for working weekends)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome customers
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit cards, debit cards, and checks)
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
- Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption
- Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
- Clothing department sales, stocking, and recovery
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
- Handling phone calls
