Job Overview
We are seeking a laidback and talented Hairstylist/Cosmetologist to join our vibrant beauty team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair and beauty services that leave clients feeling confident and radiant. Your expertise in hair styling, coloring, and extensions, will help create personalized looks that reflect each client’s unique style. As a key member of our salon, you will foster a welcoming environment, build lasting client relationships, and stay current with the latest trends and techniques. This booth rent position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills while contributing to a positive and energetic atmosphere.
Booth Rental Terms:
- $500 per month booth rental. Covers 5 days per week.
- Booth rental includes: backbar shampoo/ conditioner, facial waxing supplies, salon station and color storage area.
- Renter is required to provide their own tools, color, and all supplies necessary.
- Online booking system offered but not required. Renter is responsible for monthly membership fees.
Duties
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, and coloring services tailored to each client's preferences.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and products.
- Utilize salon software systems like Comb and Square for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail transactions.
- Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling tips to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage client communication effectively by listening attentively to their needs and providing personalized consultations.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with 5 years experience preferred.
- Proficiency in salon software systems or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, color theory, hair coloring techniques, and retail sales strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service.
