Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes under the guidance of chefs or kitchen managers.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Help with basic cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations to keep the kitchen spotless.
- Assist with catering events or banquet setups as needed, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of food items.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline kitchen operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Experience with food preparation techniques such as chopping, portioning, or basic cooking is a plus.
