Bombard Mechanical, one of the top mechanical contractors in our region, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing, Mechanical Pipe & HVAC Revit Designers to join our growing team in Las Vegas, NV.
This role is ideal for a designer who understands how systems are built in the field and can translate engineering intent into practical, efficient, and buildable Revit & fabrication models.
What You’ll Do
- Create detailed Revit models for plumbing and mechanical piping systems, including layouts, schematics, and construction documents
- Develop shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and spool sheets for shop-fabricated assemblies and field-installed systems
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to ensure clash-free, constructible designs
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts using Revit and BIM coordination models
- Ensure designs meet project specs, codes, and industry standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input
- Assist with material take-offs and cost estimates
- Stay current with Revit tools, updates, and industry best practices
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of installation experience in plumbing and mechanical systems preferred
- Formal training or strong experience in plumbing/mechanical pipe & HVAC design, with heavy Revit use.
- Revit proficiency required (Revizto, AutoCAD, Navisworks are a plus)
- Strong understanding of plumbing & mechanical piping materials, fabrication methods, installation practices, and standards (ASME, ASTM, etc.)
- Ability to interpret engineer design intent and develop practical, economical systems
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Union Memberships preferred, but not required.
