We are a rapidly growing custom bag manufacturer in the utility industry seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Sewing Technician / Product Development Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines, heavy-duty materials, and soft goods manufacturing, along with an interest or background in product development and prototype creation. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
Key skills and experience:
- Industrial sewing (walking foot, heavy materials, reinforced stitching)
- Pattern making and sample/prototype development
- Experience with materials such as canvas, nylon, vinyl, or similar textiles
- Quality control and attention to detail
- Ability to follow and improve production processes
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
