This position is part of the FAYAT Group Distribution Center (DC) in Ridgeway, South Carolina, which supports all FAYAT brands across North America.
While BOMAG Americas is a subsidiary of the FAYAT Group and shares the Ridgeway campus, this role is employed by FAYAT North America, not by BOMAG Americas. The DC serves as a centralized hub for receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities for all brands under the FAYAT umbrella.

Role Summary

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor (Receiving) is responsible for overseeing all inbound material handling and receiving operations within the FAYAT Group Distribution Center. This includes supervising team members, coordinating dock scheduling, ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of goods, and maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and inventory management standards.

This role plays a key part in ensuring that all incoming materials — across multiple FAYAT brands — are received, stored, and processed accurately, safely, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all receiving and material-handling personnel, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity standards are met.
  
• Maintain high levels of performance through effective planning, analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  
• Coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments to balance daily dock workflow and minimize bottlenecks.
  
• Ensure proper documentation, slotting, and putaway of all materials within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of storage areas in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and HR to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  
• Uphold company policies and promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  
• Support and enforce safety procedures, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational and performance goals.

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience in warehouse or manufacturing operations.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proven experience with inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and/or SAP.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, planning, and decision-making capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:

• Additional education or certifications in supervision, logistics, or operations management.
• Advanced computer proficiency and technical aptitude.
• Experience within a multi-brand distribution or manufacturing environment.
