Job Summary: Instructs snowboarders of all ages, skiing at an intermediate/advanced level, while providing a fun and effective learning environment. Along with assisting in all facets of the ski/ride department. Scheduling, booking, coordinating, terrain parks, facilities and point of sale duties

Essential Functions
- Instructs groups and /or individuals in a fun lesson format
- Teaches proper technique appropriate to the ability level of those being instructed
- Promotes safety and gives students the knowledge to remain safe when they leave lessons to ski/ride on their own
- Participates in clinics and free skiing to constantly improve personal skiing skills
- Attends PSIA and AASI clinics, and takes appropriate exams, on an ongoing basis
- Pre-season clinics required
- Greet guests and direct guests to proper lesson locations
- Must successfully complete instructor training
- Shovel snow, fix broken items, and perform general maintenance in the club house
- Mark off and close features as safety necessities, and report closing to terrain park manager
- Patrol the park, encouraging proper park use and addressing unsafe practices with users
- Assist injured park guests, and calls ski patrol if needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Patience, and a love of the outdoors and teaching
- Must pass background check necessary to work with children
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Ability to always ski safely and confidently in all ski conditions and in varying types of terrain
- Ability to work during peak ski times and in bad weather
- Physical demands of potentially skiing or snowboarding all day
- Stress involved with customer contact and coordination of a high number of workers.

Salary : $17 - $21
