Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacy Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient service skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of pharmacy operations. This role involves assisting pharmacists, managing medication inventory, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent patient service by answering questions and assisting with medication pick-up and inquiries.
- Manage medication intake, including verifying prescriptions and processing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, restock shelves, and organize medication supplies in accordance with safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, and health regulations during daily operations.
- Assist in the documentation of patient interactions and medication records, supporting patient care initiatives.
- Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and compliant with infection control protocols.
- Must be professional and courteous
- Must be organized and a self-starter
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and care delivery.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication administration, preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Know basic math and ability to alphabetize correctly.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and closing shifts until 7:30 PM. Other shifts will be assigned based on availability.
