Civil Senior Project Manager - Water Resources

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Water Resources team in our Kinston office. We are looking to add a Water Resources Senior Project Manager, who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities! In this role, you will spend the majority of your time participating in client contact and business development activities within water resources, along with recruiting and developing team members, getting the work done while meeting financial and team member growth targets. You will assist our team in achieving our belief that all people should live in safe, sustainable, and beautiful communities. We take pride in our ability to provide technical planning and engineering services to make that happen.

We are looking for candidates who possess a high capacity for self-motivation and ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Regularly makes services to current and prospective clients (internal and external) to ensure a growing practice in a specific area of expertise
• Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple projects and personnel.
• Plans and organizes project assignments and is responsible for the work of other staff.
• Approves and presents preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Maintains liaison relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Maintains and enhances skills through continuing education at a level sufficient to meet or exceed state licensure requirements.
• Travels to work sites and other project-related locations as necessary

What We Are Looking For:

• 12 years' progressive experience in the civil engineering/water resources field
• Project Management Professional Certification preferred
• Excellent interpersonal written & verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Advanced math skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective supervisory and team leadership skills
