About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious International Sales Manager to support and grow Bolin's business across key international markets outside North America. Reporting directly to the Chief Product & Revenue Officer (CPRO), you will serve as the primary driver for channel relationship management and revenue growth across key global markets (excluding the USA, China, and the UK).
This role combines account management, channel development, and business development. You will work closely with existing partners to grow their business while recruiting new distributors and resellers in territories where Bolin is underrepresented or actively expanding. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness, technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively across diverse international markets and cultures.
Key Responsibilities
• International Partner Management:
o Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with international distributors, resellers, and channel partners.
o Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and support long-term partner success.
• Global Market Expansion:
o Support revenue growth across assigned international territories by developing existing partner relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop new distributors and reseller partners in regions where Bolin is expanding or has limited market coverage.
• Revenue & Target Ownership:
o Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales, revenue, and territory growth targets.
• Sales Strategy & Brand Protection:
o Assist partners with product positioning, competitive differentiation, and sales strategies to maximize opportunities.
o Monitor partner performance and collaborate with leadership to resolve channel conflicts and improve overall partner effectiveness.
• Partner Performance & KPIs:
o Work with leadership to establish measurable performance objectives for distributors, resellers, and strategic partners, including revenue growth, engagement, business development, and marketing activities. Regularly review partner performance and develop action plans to improve results.
• Partner Enablement & Training:
o Deliver product demonstrations, sales presentations, and training sessions to partners, both virtually and on-site.
o Develop sales tools to reinforce product messaging and help partners communicate the value of Bolin solutions.
o Ensure partners have the knowledge and resources needed to effectively position, support, and sell Bolin solutions.
• Market Intelligence:
o Gather competitive market data, pricing trends, and competitor analysis to inform product positioning and international sales strategy.
o Serve as the voice of the customer by communicating market requirements, regional feedback, and feature requests to Product Management and Marketing.
o Stay informed on emerging technologies and market developments within the Professional AV, Broadcast, and Live Production industries.
• Events & Field Support:
o Represent Bolin at international trade shows, partner events, customer meetings, and industry functions throughout assigned territories.
o Travel internationally to support partners, conduct training, assist with sales opportunities, and develop new business relationships.
o Coordinate regional sales enablement activities with international partners.
• Strategic Collaboration:
o Partner directly with the CPRO to align sales initiatives with overall product strategy and long-term corporate revenue goals.
• Reporting:
o Maintain accurate opportunity and activity records within the company CRM.
o Provide regular updates on partner activities, sales pipeline, regional performance, and market developments.
o Prepare territory forecasts and business reviews to support sales planning and growth initiatives..
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in international sales, channel sales, business development, account management, or technical sales within the Professional AV, Broadcast, or related technology industries..
• Industry Expertise: Hands-on experience and knowledge of Pro AV cameras, broadcast video standards, and associated AV devices.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Software Proficiency: Exceptional command of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Experience using CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar systems. Familiarity with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or equivalent business management systems.
• Travel & Flexibility:
o It is requested to travel internationally for partner meetings and trade shows.
o Availability outside of standard business hours is expected as needed to support international customers, partners, and sales development activities.
