What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician - Safe Haven position at BOLEY CENTER?
Boley Centers, Inc., a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, veterans and youth in Pinellas County, has an opening for a Full Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at its Pinellas Safe Haven location.
The Behavior Health Technician provides and/or produces a variety of services for clients living in assigned residential facility. Services include Living Skills Training, transportation to and from activities, counseling, medication monitoring and housekeeping assistance. Also responsible for maintaining records, receipts and other documentation as required by regulations, policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 6 months of experience working in a human services organization. 30 hours of college credits can be substituted for experience. Some knowledge of mental illness and working with individuals with mental illness preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Florida driver's license required.
Must pass a Level II background check and drug screen.
