CDL TRUCK DRIVER CLASS A or CLASS B

Bolduc Metal Recycling is seeking a CDL driver holding a minimum of Class B license to join our team. The position can be custom tailored for the right candidate, offering full or part-time flexible hours Monday - Friday. Compensation ranges from $27.50 to $30.00 per hour relative to experience and abilities. The variety of work and equipment available means the potential for performance bonuses and wage increases upon performance reviews as early as 3 months exists. We are a family owned and operated scrap metal recycling company offering a supportive, team oriented environment. We are looking to add an individual to our driving team who takes as much pride in their job as we do our business. As a representative of our business, we desire someone able to interact with customer accounts on the phone and on the job site. They should be able to take direction from the current team of drivers as well as dispatch. but also be an independent thinker and problem solver.

RESPONSIBILTIES

This positions primary duty iinvolves driving one of three manual transmission roll-off trucks while delivering, swapping, and removing roll-offs throughout Vermont and surrounding areas. Applicants should be physically fit with the ability to climb onto roll-off containers when necessary to secure, adjust, and inspect loads. Drivers holding a Class A CDL may have an opportunity to operate a tractor-trailer equipped with a Landoll trailer.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience with a manual transmission and previous roll-off truck preffered

* Clean driving record and DISA clearing house compliant

*Customer Service communication skills to interact with accounts professionally

*Ability to perform pre and post trip inspections, inspect and secure loads by physically climbing box, and communicate concerns to dispatch

* Familiarity with safety protocols and best management practices, high safety standards, and respect for the equipment provided.

*Although not a requirement, additional certifications such as OSHA 10 or experience in operating equipment a plus

*Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
