BoldRoot Builders is a growing residential construction company specializing in high-quality additions, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, garages, and custom projects throughout Northern Vermont.

We're looking for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their work and wants to become part of a small, professional team.

You may be a carpenter, remodeler, cabinet installer, framer, finish carpenter, deck builder, or another skilled tradesperson. Your exact title matters less to us than your ability, reliability, attitude, and desire to keep growing.

What we're looking for

We're interested in people who:

• Have several years of experience in construction or a skilled trade
• Can perform quality work with limited supervision
• Take ownership of their work and don't need to be constantly managed
• Can read plans, measurements, and basic construction details
• Are comfortable solving problems in the field
• Care about craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Keep a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
• Communicate well with homeowners, coworkers, and subcontractors
• Show up consistently and take their commitments seriously
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Want to continue developing their skills and responsibilities

Carpentry experience is strongly preferred, but we're willing to consider exceptional candidates from related trades.

What you'll be doing

Depending on your experience, your work may include:

• Framing
• Finish carpentry
• Door and window installation
• Trim and interior finish work
• Decks and exterior construction
• Remodeling and renovations
• Drywall and basic finish work
• Cabinet and built-in installation
• Reading plans and laying out work
• Coordinating with other trades
• Protecting and maintaining finished work
• Helping keep projects organized and moving forward

Compensation

$25–$40 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, leadership ability, and overall fit.

Exceptional candidates may be considered outside this range.

Location

Projects are primarily located throughout Northern Vermont, including Chittenden, Franklin, Lamoille, and surrounding counties.

A reliable vehicle and ability to travel to jobsites is required.
