What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer/Customer Service Representative position at Boldman Printing?
Seeking candidates for position with our Urbana, Ohio location as a Graphic Artist/Print Production Assistant/Customer Service Rep. This position will be trained on how to assist our customers via telephone, email, and in person at our office with their print and design projects as well as UPS shipping.
The position is best for someone with 1 years of experience within the print industry, digital printing preferred.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with experience and training in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and Illustrator. Great attention to detail and organizational skills of key importance. We are looking for quality of character as well as experience.
Able to accept constructive criticism and be able to follow instructions.
Communicate courteously with clients to assist them with the creation of jobs.
Review job specification from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce job.
Excellent time management skills. You should be able to juggle multiple tasks and aggressive daily deadlines with minimal supervision and extraordinary attention to detail.
Work both independently and as a member of a team, from concept to completion.
Excellent organizational & communication skills (written & verbal)

Daily Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Print finishing and bindery duties such as cutting, folding, stapling, padding, etc.
Assisting in the preparation and printing of digital files, checking fonts, links, colors, creating bleeds, crops, and imposing art when required.
Communicating courteously with clients to assist them with the creation of their jobs.
Reviewing job specifications from work orders and ensuring that client files are accurate and the finished job exceeds customer expectations.
Greet customers as they enter and respond quickly and attentively
Set-up and operate digital print equipment.
Set-up files for printing and imposition.
Finishing & bindery (cutting, folding, laminating, etc.)
Customer service, answering phone calls & emails, data entry.
