Position Summary
The Kitchen Team Member is responsible for preparing food, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, assisting with kitchen operations, and delivering a positive guest dining experience. This role supports daily food service operations while ensuring food quality, safety, and efficiency in a high-volume entertainment environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Service
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Bolder Adventure Park recipes and standards.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Assist with stocking, prepping, and organizing ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure all food orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house team members regarding order timing and guest needs.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Kitchen Operations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, prep areas, storage areas, and workstations.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership of low-stock items.
- Properly label, date, and store food products following company procedures.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
Guest Experience
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
- Support the overall guest experience by ensuring food quality and efficient service.
- Assist during parties, events, and peak operational periods as needed.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all health department regulations and company safety procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain compliance with opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
- Immediately report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and directions accurately.
- Food Handler Certification preferred or required based on local regulations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
