Role And Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in Medical Surgical/Telemetry units, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Assist with patient mobility, transport, and maintaining a sterile, organized environment.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and participate in on-call duties when required.
- Perform additional duties related to patient care and unit operations as assigned.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, with graduation from an accredited school.
- Certifications may be required based on facility needs.
- Strong interpersonal, technical, cognitive, and sensory skills for effective communication, procedure assistance, and patient monitoring.
- Physical ability to lift equipment and assist with patient movement.
