Role Overview: Provides comprehensive speech and language pathology services to patients of all ages, developing individualized treatment plans based on evaluations, physician referrals, and patient/family goals.

- Designs and implements age-appropriate treatment programs, adjusting them as needed to meet patient progress.
- Administers assessments to evaluate communication, cognition, swallowing, and related skills; interprets results to guide therapy.
- Ensures documentation compliance and maintains a productive clinical schedule.
- Communicates effectively with physicians, families, and team members to coordinate care.
- Provides patient and family education, including assistive device instruction and discharge planning.
- Performs specialized services such as video swallow studies and supervises students/interns as qualified.
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with active license in the applicable state.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to establish rapport with diverse patients.
- Ability to select appropriate assessments, assistive devices, and develop discharge plans.
