Role Overview: This position involves performing radiographic procedures in accordance with professional and departmental standards, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.

- Execute radiographic exams with proper technique and positioning, adhering to protocols.
- Assist in educating radiography students and communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
- Recognize and address clinical or emergent issues to optimize exam outcomes and patient safety.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, proper tracking, and error correction within the radiology information system.
- Maintain radiation exposure within safety limits, utilizing protective procedures and shielding.
- Ensure a safe, clean environment, properly stocked with supplies, and operate imaging equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
- Stay updated on technological advancements through seminars and in-services, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Recent hospital experience preferred; capable of performing on-call, shift, holiday, and weekend duties.
- Basic computer skills, strong communication, confidentiality, crisis management, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records.
- Delaware State Radiation License
- Licensed in the state of Delaware
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification
- Associate’s Degree in a related field.
