Responsibilities Include
- Assessing emergency situations and determining appropriate actions within a 911 system handling approximately 17,000 calls annually.
- Providing Advanced Life Support (ALS) care and transport following Oregon Paramedic protocols.
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families to deliver care and reassurance.
- Leading scene management and collaborating professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS or ITLS.
- Pass physical agility test and maintain a compliant driving record.
- Some healthcare experience preferred.
