Role and Responsibilities: The OB hospitalist provides in-house 24-hour coverage, managing labor and delivery, obstetrical emergencies, and inpatient gynecologic consultations. Collaboration with community OB/GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, anesthesiology, and neonatal teams is essential.
Qualifications and Skills: Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and eligible for South Carolina medical licensure. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care are required.
