Mental Health Specialist

Role Summary: This position provides direct patient care in a restraint-free environment, supporting patient recovery under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Registered Nurse. It involves delivering appropriate medical attention to patients in both voluntary and involuntary situations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Avade Training within 30 days of hire.
• Strong attention to safety and proficiency with computers and hospital software.
• Effective communication skills with diverse patient populations.
• Preferred: Experience in acute care, mental health units, or residential settings; CPR certification.
