Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Psychiatry

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician (MD/DO) specializing in Psychiatry to provide high-quality mental health services in Rockland, ME, near Bangor.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and prescribe medications as appropriate. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and provide crisis intervention and ongoing follow-up care.

• Perform psychiatric assessments and establish diagnosis according to current standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, case managers, and support staff.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain confidentiality.
