Role: Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician

Responsibilities: Provide anesthesiology support for cardiac surgeries, supervise anesthesia staff, and ensure patient safety during procedures across two campuses with 23 ORs. Manage cases independently or under supervision, adhering to hospital protocols.

Qualifications & Skills: Board Certification in Anesthesiology, active medical license (or eligible via IMLC), and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.

Key Duties

• Perform anesthesia for cardiac surgeries and other procedures.
• Supervise anesthesia providers, including MDs and CRNAs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and patient care protocols.
• Manage call responsibilities, ensuring 40 hours weekly.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system.
  
  

Skills & Requirements: Strong clinical knowledge in cardiac anesthesiology, team collaboration, and ability to work independently or under supervision. Must hold an active license or be eligible for licensure in Delaware.
