What You’ll Do
Sales & Business Development
- Work with inbound business opportunities: no prospecting required!
- Help small business owners understand their risk and recommend the right coverage
- Use digital tools and insurtech platforms to speed up quoting, binding, and policy issuance
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers, MGAs, and E&S carriers
- Place hard-to-insure risks with confidence
- Hit or exceed sales targets while delivering top-tier customer service
- Be the main point of contact for clients after the sale
- Handle endorsements, renewals, and coverage updates
- Proactively respond to client questions and support needs
- Help clients navigate claims and policy changes
- Conduct annual reviews and recommend adjustments based on growth or risk changes
- Keep everything compliant and accurately documented
What You Bring to the Table
- 3 years of commercial insurance sales experience
- Comfort using digital platforms for quoting and binding
- Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and carrier appetites
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Active P&C license (surplus lines license preferred or willingness to obtain)
