Facilities Custodian

Overview

The BOLD Team is composed of exceptional personalities from the cannabis industry seeking a progressive workplace that is committed to growing the highest quality locally gown cannabis products in Arkansas while ensuring compliance with state law. We are seeking an entry level Facility Technician who has the knowledge and ability to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the medical marijuana cultivation and processing facility.

This position is responsible for a variety of custodian duties. The successful candidate in our cultivation facility is detail-oriented, dependable, and understands the importance of cleanliness in a highly regulated, plant-sensitive environment. May support other teams across the facility as needed.

Responsibilities

· Clean and maintain designated spaces to include walls and doors inside of the facility on a daily basis, which includes the lobby, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, work rooms and Common Areas.

· Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, shampoo carpets, wash windows and empty trash on a daily basis.

· Maintain and stock supply rooms, kitchens and bathrooms as needed.

· When vacant, clean and sanitize cure rooms.

· Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees

· Carry out heavy cleansing tasks

· Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete

· Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

· HSD/GED

· Experience in the medical cannabis industry desirable, but not required

· Must be able to work some weekends and some holidays

· Problem solving skills; willingness and flexibility to foresee and overcome obstacles

· Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous janitor/custodian experience.
