Business Development Representative

Bold Commercial Construction LLC — Longview, TX | Full-Time | In-Office

About the Role

Bold Commercial Construction is growing and we’re looking for a driven, personable Business Development Representative to help us expand our project pipeline across commercial construction markets nationwide. This is a phone-first, relationship-driven role. You’ll be prospecting new clients, pitching Bold’s capabilities, getting us on bid lists, and supporting our estimating team with follow-up on active bids.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Prospecting

∙ Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients including developers, property owners, facility managers, and general contractors

∙ Deliver a confident, professional pitch of Bold’s services and value proposition

∙ Research and identify project owners and construction managers actively soliciting bids in target markets

∙ Submit requests to be added to bid lists for applicable commercial construction projects

∙ Maintain a prospect pipeline and activity log tracking all outreach, follow-up dates, and opportunity status

∙ Monitor project registration platforms, owner bid portals, and public procurement sources for new opportunities

∙ Identify and pursue new markets where Bold can expand its presence

Estimating & Bid Support

∙ Follow up with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors on active bid solicitations

∙ Track bid invitations and maintain bid log accuracy

∙ Coordinate with the estimating team to ensure deadlines are met

∙ Assist in organizing bid documents, quote sheets, and project correspondence

What We’re Looking For

∙ Comfortable with outbound cold calling and able to deliver a clear, compelling pitch

∙ 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role

∙ Strong verbal communication skills with a confident, persuasive phone presence

∙ Self-motivated and able to maintain consistent high-volume outreach independently

∙ Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

∙ Construction industry experience a plus but not required — the right drive matters more
