Role & Responsibilities

As the Managing Director, Strategy & Operations, you will drive strategic initiatives that actualize Bold’s vision for a world-class K-12 public education as we prepare for growth. To help achieve our vision, we are searching for a candidate with 5 years of strategic leadership experience in a high-performing setting. Ideal candidates will have a solutions- and systems-oriented mindset, the ability to coach teams to high levels of achievement, and a foundational belief that every child can succeed when we create a culture that holds everyone—team, students, and families— to high expectations.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Develop a deep understanding of Bold’s goals, vision, values, and model
• Drive a multi-year strategy that supports school performance and growth
• Lead the ongoing development of Bold's research and data functions
• Establish and monitor strategic organizational performance metrics; design and implement systems that contribute to achieving team objectives
• Model Bold’s core values, building a positive student and team culture
• Demonstrate a mission-first mindset that ensures all decisions and actions are aligned to Bold's goals, standards, and rooted in what is best for student achievement

Qualifications

• 5 years strategic management or consulting experience in a high-performing environment
• 3 years of leadership experience, coaching and leading teams to high levels of performance
• Bachelors degree required; graduate degree in a related field preferred

Compensation

Bold Charter School offers highly competitive compensation, in the top range of comparable positions. The starting salary for this position is $150-180,000 annually and includes a full benefits package.
