Western NC Field Marketing Manager
Supervisor: Sr Director of Marketing and Local Engagement
Overview:
The North Carolina Field Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing all field and local store marketing programs, sponsorships, and community campaigns across all Western NC Bojangles locations. This role works in close collaboration with the Senior Director of Marketing and Local Engagement, Field Operations, and the Executive Director of Marketing to ensure that all local marketing efforts are strategic, effective, and aligned with the company's goals. The position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and Local Engagement and partners with cross-functional teams to uphold brand standards and drive market-level success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all local and field marketing initiatives for BOJ of WNC restaurants in North Carolina (Bojangles).
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of ongoing marketing programs to ensure relevance and ROI.
- Plan, negotiate, and manage local store marketing budgets and partnerships, including elementary, middle and high schools, communities, businesses and grassroots campaigns.
- Support new store openings and respond to competitive market activity with targeted local marketing strategies.
- Coordinate and manage community engagement activities, including share nights, food donation requests, and sponsorships.
- Coordinating and executing individual marketing plans for Bojangles restaurants in Western NC.
- Collect and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
- Conduct regular market research and gather competitive pricing and promotional intelligence.
- Organize and participate in special marketing events and activations as needed including those events and Grand Openings located in other states.
- Support broader company marketing initiatives, including donation requests, sponsorship opportunities, and community outreach.
- Develop localized marketing calendars to align with system-wide promotions and key events.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring brand standards are maintained in all field activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new campaign ideas and business opportunities.
- Identify and implement new sponsorships, partnerships, and local marketing opportunities to support underperforming restaurants.
- Oversee and manage all Western NC EZCater and Bojangles Catering operations for the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing,
- Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, with social media experience a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage several projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong follow-through.
- Strong team player who can work cross-functionally with internal and external partners.
- Demonstrates a professional, courteous, and solutions-oriented attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with data and digital tools.
- Excellent at obtaining information from people and databases to support decision-making.
