**Mold Remediation & Demolition Technician — Boise Mold Removal**
**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Technician to join our remediation team, playing a vital role in restoring homes and businesses after water and mold damage. As a Demo and Remediation Tech, you will be responsible for demolition and tear-out, mold remediation, and water damage cleanup, ensuring every job site is safe, clean, and completed to industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on alongside experienced technicians and grow your skills in the restoration industry.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform demolition and tear-out of water- and mold-damaged materials including drywall, flooring, and cabinetry
- Set up containment barriers and negative air systems to prevent cross-contamination
- Operate air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums, and other remediation equipment
- Apply antimicrobial and cleaning treatments according to IICRC standards and company protocols
- Safely remove, bag, and dispose of affected building materials
- Load, unload, and maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles
- Document job progress with photos and notes for project files and insurance documentation
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and respiratory protection
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers on active job sites
**Requirements**
- Prior experience in construction, demolition, restoration, or general labor is preferred — we will train the right person
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in crawlspaces and attics, and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Must be able to wear a respirator and full PPE for extended periods
- Reliable transportation, strong work ethic, and punctuality are a must
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- IICRC certification (WRT, AMRT) is a plus but not required
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
