Join our Front End team and support an efficient, positive shopping experience by keeping carts organized, assisting customers, and ensuring key areas of the store stay clean and inviting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Retrieve shopping carts from parking areas and cart corrals, keeping them clean, organized, and ready for customer use.
- Help cashiers by bagging groceries and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with carrying purchases to their vehicles when requested.
- Maintain cleanliness of customer eating areas and restrooms, including wiping surfaces, sweeping, and restocking napkin and utensil stations.
- Monitor self-checkout stations and support customers as needed.
- Answer store phones and direct incoming calls appropriately.

- Ability to recognize when issues require higher-level staff support.
- Reliable work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–3 years of retail or customer service experience preferred, especially in a grocery environment.
Physical Demands
This position requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a grocery store setting, including standing or sitting for prolonged periods, occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Repetitive hand and arm movements, use of step stools or ladders, and proper PPE when using appliances and equipment are required.
Working Environment
Work is performed primarily in a grocery store setting with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
