This is a seasonal/temporary position to provide vacation relief. Seasonal hires will work full time May 1st - September 30th (students will work as many weeks between these dates as their school schedule will allow.)
Job Description:
- Keeping the mill clean and safe by sweeping and shoveling
- Pulling strips of veneer off moving chain and stacking in cart (very physical and repetitive)
- Feeding strips of veneer into dryer (very repetitive)
- Performing the duties of various workstations to allow other employees to receive breaks throughout their shift
- Various duties to assist in the continuous operation of the mill
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be available to work any shift: Days, Swing, Graveyard, Relief
- Must be able to continuously stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders safely
- Occasionally lift over 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to successfully pass drug test, pre-employment physical, and criminal background check
