Job Summary – Primary Function
- Complete assigned tasks and daily responsibilities with accuracy and meet productivity goals.
- Commit to working longer hours as production demands dictate.
- Assist in scheduling and organizing the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Move personnel to ensure completion of daily tasks.
- Assign work, and assist with that work, when necessary, to complete tasks.
- Ensure that you and others are following all safety rules set forth by the company, assuring everyone works in a safe manner.
- Anticipate obstacles and act mindfully to mitigate them.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment and be able to deal with frequent change or unexpected work assignments.
- Set personal goals and work with supervisor to set team goals. Demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles.

Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience of all machinery, tools, processes, and procedures in the area they are a lead person for.
- Excellent attendance record and performance appraisals. Is consistently at work and on time. Punctual for all meetings and appointments. Does not extend break times, or abuse restroom breaks.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three month of related work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, blueprints, shop drawings, and written instructions that determine the method and sequence of assembling parts.
- Demonstrated ability to read a tape measure and be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
