Cosmetologist/ (Booth Rental)

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair, skin, and beauty treatments, with excellent customer service and management skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide a wide range of beauty services, including hair styling, skincare, body treatments, and retail sales, in a welcoming and upscale environment. The Cosmetologist will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism.

Duties

• Perform various beauty treatments such as hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and facial waxing.
• Manage appointments and guest services using salon software such as Square.
• Assist clients with product demos and recommend retail products to enhance their beauty routines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all treatment areas following industry guidelines.
• Handle front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, managing client inquiries, and processing payments.
• Utilize social media management skills to promote salon services and engage with clients online.
• Upsell additional services or products to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Stay current with industry trends such as color theory, haircutting & styling techniques.
• Support management in daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology license with experience in hair styling, nail care, or skincare treatments.
• Strong management skills including appointment scheduling and retail sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with outstanding customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Ability to manage social media platforms for marketing purposes effectively.
• Experience in retail upselling and product demonstrations is advantageous.
• Background in hospitality or guest services is a plus for creating an inviting atmosphere. This position offers an engaging work environment where creativity meets professionalism, providing opportunities for growth within the beauty industry while delivering exceptional service to clients.
• Must be able to pay a weekly booth rental fee due every week.

Pay: $25.00 - $1,000.00 per day
