Bohler’s DC office is seeking a Project Engineer who’s ready to take the next step in technical and professional growth. You’ll lead aspects of site design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to project delivery across diverse commercial, residential, and industrial projects in the DC metro area. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
The base pay range for this role is $95,000 – $125,000 per year.

- Design and coordinate site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility systems for complex projects.
- Analyze zoning regulations, site conditions, and environmental constraints to guide design decisions.
- Perform stormwater management and hydrology calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to deliver cohesive design packages.
- Review technical reports, construction documents, and cost estimates.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in technical training and quality review.
- Support client communication, permitting efforts, and coordination with review agencies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in civil/site design, grading, drainage, and permitting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater management design software.
- Strong understanding of local zoning, site development processes, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- PE license preferred; EIT required or in progress.
