About The Role
Bohler’s Herndon, VA office is seeking a Landscape Designer ready to grow and make an impact. In this collaborative, fast-paced environment, you’ll work with landscape architects, engineers, and designers to bring bold, functional, and beautiful site designs to life across commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate on design packages for diverse land development projects.
- Create design graphics and construction documents using CAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization tools.
- Develop project renderings and graphics using both digital and hand-rendering techniques.
- Design landscape plans for clients in multiple industries.
- Coordinate drawings, exhibits, and calculations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate regularly with project teams, clients, and reviewing agencies.
- Build technical knowledge in hardscape, planting, lighting, and grading design.
- Partner with your manager to define a career path that reflects your goals and individuality.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Planning, or equivalent experience.
- 0–1 years of design experience; new grads and experienced applicants are welcome.
- Production experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp preferred.
- Strong design and presentation skills in both digital and hand-rendering techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity, energy, and flexibility to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to integrate seamlessly into multidisciplinary teams.
