Our Herndon, VA office is looking for an entry-level Civil Engineer (Construction) with exposure to land development/site civil design.
What You'll Do:
As a Civil Engineer - Construction at Bohler, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide construction related support to design teams, contractors, and clients
- Work directly with and become POC for contractors
- Coordinate communication between contractors and the design teams
- Work with the Construction Admin and design teams to execute and assist in the following construction-related services:◦ Review and respond to RFIs◦ Shop Drawings and submittal review◦ Site visits and observations◦ Precon and course of construction meeting attendance◦ Utility coordination◦ Permit coordination◦ Punch list
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards

What You'll Need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and able to manage many projects at the same time
- Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation
- Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the design team
- Ability to effectively discuss project issues with contractors and reviewing agencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
