Chief Engineer - QA/QC

Our NJ Region is looking for a Chief Engineer - QA/QC who embodies this purpose. This individual could be located in any of our 3 NJ offices (Warren, Red Bank or Ridgewood):

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-level strategy for unique design projects
• Internal Quality Assurance / Quality Control aspects during the project design and construction process:
• Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Control processes
• Completion of Quality Checklists for design
• Reviewing site/civil design plans and calculations throughout the project life cycle
• Detailing consistency
• Constructability review
• Assessment / improvement / maintenance of QA/QC procedure
• Providing recommendations on individual projects to mitigate risk for our clients throughout design and construction.
• Assist design team in support of construction administration services for design projects
• Be a resource for project teams, answer questions, provide one-on-one training and oversight when needed for staff
• Complies with all policies and standard
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• 15 years of experience in site/civil design
• Proficient with New Jersey land development procedures, regulations, and codes
• A passion for, and experience with, site design, creative problem-solving, and mentoring others
• Attention to detail
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
  
  

Salary $125,000 - $175,000. Total compensation will be determined by other considerations such as experience, qualifications and educational background. This position is eligible for potential annual bonus earnings.
