Bohemian Foundation and Bohemian Companies are seeking a seasoned Property and Risk Management Director to oversee their property, safety, and risk management needs, reporting to executive leadership in each of the respective organizations.

Bohemian Companies is a private investment office based in Fort Collins, Colorado and provides support to diverse business activities.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Property & Risk Management Director to oversee a portfolio consisting of 25 commercial and private residential properties. The Property & Risk Management Director will oversee operational activities including maintenance of and overall property management for the organizations. This includes managing ongoing maintenance, improvements, and approved capital projects. Additionally, this role is responsible for the oversight of safety and security policies, including the implementation and regular practice of safety protocols, as well as ensuring all procedures and training plans follow all legal guidelines. This role is also responsible for leading a team with a commitment to learning and continuous improvement. The Property & Risk Management Director will support executive leadership to develop and oversee the real estate risk management strategy. The Director will serve as a member of the Senior Leadership team at each organization.
Experience and Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of ten years of combined experience across the following areas:
· Commercial and residential property management including preventative maintenance
· Risk management background, and experience leading safety planning and security initiatives, including emergency preparedness, incident response, and development, implementation and oversight of safety protocols
- Experience in vendor management, including sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and performance oversight of service providers
- Experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
- Capital planning and lifecycle asset management, budget development including cost control and optimization of building operational efficiency
- Demonstrated experience leading a team or managing direct reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (O365) applications including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook, with strong digital organization and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, collaborate across teams, and represent the organization professionally, is a must

The anticipated starting annual salary for this position is $130,000 to $145,000. All regular, full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness benefits, retirement savings and company match. Additional benefits include sixteen paid holidays, flexible time off (vacation, sick and personal time), new parent leave, staff education, and education reimbursement.
