Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our wedding venue. This role involves overseeing all aspects of venue management, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining a lively, safe, and smoothly run environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to drive success in a fast-paced setting. As the Venue Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating memorable experiences for guests while managing staff and operations, with enthusiasm and professionalism.
This role is part-time/seasonal (March-November) with the opportunity to become full time.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all venue operations, including event management, customer service, and shift coordination to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage staff, assign duties, and supervise team members to foster a motivated and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate with event organizers and vendors to plan and execute successful events that meet quality standards.
- Serve as an on-site point of contact during weddings and events
- Ensure all buildings and event spaces are properly stocked and set for the day
- Assist couples, vendors, and guests with questions to help the event run smoothly
- Transport guests using golf carts as needed
- Direct guests to ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and parking areas
- Assist with managing guest flow and light traffic direction on event days
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills (previous supervising or assistant manager experience is a plus but is not required).
- Experience managing shifts effectively while maintaining high service standards..
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
- Previous experience in venue management or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
