Looking for a proactive and value-adding personality with business acumen and financial accounting underpinning to support financial accounting, business analysis, and strategic planning for North American operations. Report to Group Controller and manage a team of two. Core responsibilities are:
- Financial Reporting & Accounting: Oversee month end closing, accounts payable & receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial forecasts (revenues, expenses, cash, inventory) and provide variance analysis to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Budgets & Strategic Planning: Coordinate the annual budget process. Provide financial support on strategic planning.
- Process Improvements: Contribute on projects to improve productivity, identify cost savings, integrate acquisitions, and build infrastructure to support growth.
REQUIREMENTS: BS required; CPA or MBA a plus. Seek 6 years of business experience with last 3 years in a financial role with a multi-plant manufacturer that targets OEM customers (e.g., alternative energy, aerospace, automotive, building products, capital equipment, motion control, medical equipment, robotics, sensors). Must be willing to travel 7-10% . Must have stable work history that illustrates career progression.
REWARD: $120,000 to $140,000 DOE plus annual bonus (have paid full bonus or beyond every year), excellent benefits, and upside growth.
