The Mountain Ticket Office (MTO) Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service while completing guest transactions during the Summer operating season.

Essential Functions of the Job

· Provide general information and assist guests in all selections and transactions of summer activities.

· Account for balancing daily transactions to cash receipts.

· Assist in the daily operations of the Ticket Office including filing, answering phones, and other duties as assigned.

· Handle all incoming lost & found phone inquiries.

· Communicate by radio for daily activities and for any emergencies.

· Assist guests with Daily Use lockers.

· Organize, clean, and maintain individual sales stations and the general sales office.

Non-Essential Functions of the Job

· Assist with special projects, as needed.

· Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

· Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.

· Basic sales and/ or cash handling experience.

· Knowledge of and experience with computers (Windows).

· Knowledge of and experience with general accounting procedures.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of currency.

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization.

· Ability to make sound decisions under stressful situations.

· Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately.

· Employee is frequently required to stand, balance, walk and reach with hands and arms.

· Maintain a professional attitude towards guests and staff.

· Ability to pass a background check.

· Ability to work June through August

Working Conditions

· Majority of time spent in an indoor ticket office environment.

· Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions and inclement weather
