Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of information.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
- Provide education to patients regarding their eye health and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of clinic operations and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is a plus.
