What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at BOGE Rubber & Plastics?
This Quality Engineering position has direct responsibility for supporting strategies, plans, and goals for interfacing with the Research and Development Organization in defining Key Product Characteristics and Controls, DFMEA and PFMEA applications, and conveying quality and value-added improvements to the design department and Implementation of “Lessons Learned” from Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Service. In addition, this individual will lead Quality Coordination in the implementation of new Product Quality Planning, involved in such activities as Quality Gates / Reviews, product validation, Engineering Change application, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and other required documentation.
such as rubber compounding, adhesive coating, and injection/compression molding
communication of results across departments.
alignment on quality standards, process controls, and deviation management.
work instructions. This includes inspection, measurement, and testing methodologies for specified product lines, ensuring consistency and adherence to automotive standards.
flawless launch of new projects and new product introductions (NPIs) from concept to mass production.
leading the implementation and continuous improvement of procedures to ensure ongoing certification and compliance through internal and external audits.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
