Bogart Associates, Inc is a boutique political fundraising and event planning firm in Washington DC. We have represented Republican Members of Congress and corporate clients for more than 30 years.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located on Capitol Hill, in Washington, DC. The fundraising intern will primarily be responsible for tracking contributions, maintaining accurate records using advanced Microsoft Excel skills. The role will also be responsible for managing our CRM and event staffing and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, logistics, and staffing of political fundraising events
- Process incoming donation checks and prepare them for shipping
- Track donation information and amounts in Excel with meticulous attention to detail
- Contact and communicate with campaign treasurers each quarter to accurately file results to Federal Elections Commission
- Administrative tasks to support office workflows
Qualifications
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using CRM softwares
- Previous experience in Political Fundraising or campaign work
- Knowledge of Republican politics / current events
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, or a related field
This is a full-time role which is expected to report on-site to our Capitol Hill office 5 days per week. The internship will span from Early December until November. The target salary range for this position is $20-$22 per hour.
