Position Overview
This position is a leadership position driving several regional functions to complete goals and objectives with clearly defined metrics for each region:
- Regional Raw Materials
- Capacity Asset Management
- Transparency and Traceability
- Production Operations Focused clarity on the strategic vision of the regions to effectively manage the team and the execution of the corresponding work. Build relationships with Suppliers to complement the flow of information and accuracy with reporting the data- delivery, quality, and cost being paramount.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Regional Raw Materials:
- Ensure all raw materials are approved in region for effective production of units: price, quality, color.
- Manage the platforming of greige in partnership with the Business Expansion Team to ensure lead time execution.
- Responsible on boarding and exit of Tier 2 suppliers.
- Knowledge of macros as it connects to raw material price negotiations.
- Tracking of liability fabrics and the financials of said liability.
- Supplier partnerships are connected to building teams and trust.
- Capacity Asset Management
- Effective tracking of regional capacity- both the aggregated total of the region and the individual supplier's capacity.
- Effective booking and release of capacity to not cause hardship of any supplier.
- Responsible Sourcing practices as connected to capacity management.
- Utilization of corporate tools to track (09 system).
- Regional allocation of units to complement capacity initiatives.
- Transparency and Traceability:
- Manage work with the supplier community to implement and effectively make a difference as connected to the corporate strategy for TNT.
- Work with internal and external business partners as needed to educate, implement, track, and advertise successes as connected to TNT.
- Production Operations
- Manage the execution of issuing Right First-Time purchase orders for the region.
- Own corporate projects as needed to strategically drive the business (i.e.: price changes, inventory initiative, etc)
- Partner with Commercial Teams as needed to stay aware of everything Purchase Order connected
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- The Leader will have a proven track record of success as a corporate executive in a result-driven organization
- Proven senior leadership experience in an international production and sourcing environment in a highly successful Fortune 500 organization preferred.
- Knowledge of internal controls, financial/banking regulations and risk assessment and vendor due diligence.
- Substantial knowledge of trade regulations, inventory management, financial analysis, logistics, procurement and distribution, commercial analysis, product integrity, and production cycle timeline
- Proven ability to develop and implement new tools and processes to improve efficiency Leadership Approach
