Ralph Lauren is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our Digital Commerce Development team in North America. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Development & Implementation
- Develop and implement new user-facing features using modern front-end technologies including React.js and Node.js
- Build reusable components and scalable front-end libraries to support rapid development cycles
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and accessible code
- Optimize application performance across various devices, browsers, and screen sizes Collaboration & Quality
- Partner closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
- Participate in peer code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions
- Contribute to debugging efforts and resolution of complex technical issues Innovation & Growth
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
- Propose and implement improvements to development processes and tooling
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in front-end development with React.js, nextjs and other related frameworks
- Proven track record in e-commerce or consumer-facing web applications Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and modern JavaScript concepts
- Deep understanding of React.js ecosystem and core principles
- Hands-on experience with state management solutions (Redux, Context API, or Zustand)
- Experience taking components from Figma to code.
- Proficiency with modern ECMAScript (ES6 ) features and syntax
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data operations
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive/mobile-first design principles
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Babel, NPM/Yarn) Preferred Qualifications Technical Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with TypeScript for type-safe development
- Knowledge of Next.js, Vite, or other React frameworks
- Understanding of GraphQL and modern API query languages
- Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Soft Skills
