Role Description The Keyholder is a part-time, on-site role based at Boem Boutique in Charlotte, NC. This role is responsible for opening and closing the store, assisting with daily floor operations, and ensuring a welcoming, on-brand environment for guests. Day-to-day tasks include engaging customers, offering styling guidance, maintaining product displays, processing transactions, and supporting inventory management. The Keyholder also helps lead by example on the sales floor, supports training of new team members, and upholds store policies and standards for service, visual merchandising, and cleanliness. This position works closely with store leadership to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with a focus on creating a welcoming, personalized in-store experience.
- Candidates should possess solid Retail Sales and Communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, recommend products, and close sales effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Product Knowledge skills, with an interest in fashion trends and the ability to learn and convey brand and fit details.
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role is preferred, especially in boutique or fashion environments.
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle opening/closing responsibilities are essential.
- Comfort working on feet, performing light physical tasks (such as merchandising and stock handling), and using POS systems is required.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
