The Certification System Process and Tool Integration team is seeking a Systems Engineering Support Analyst (Mid-Level, Subject Matter Expert or Senior) to join our team in Everett, WA .

This Regulatory Administration and Airworthiness (RA&A) Enterprise team is centrally responsible for integration of certification processes across our One Boeing (Commercial, Defense and Global Services). Team members grow to become experts in the certification business and solve technical issues across the certification value stream. We are owners of processes and documents, manage change and drive efficiency/ease of compliance all from a variety of sources.
The team and leadership encourage innovation and forward-thinking solutions in an autonomous atmosphere. The team enjoys problem solving through, developing action, data analysis and driving systems level solutions. It is a dynamic and highly visible place of work.
Position Responsibilities:
Support/Lead technical advancement of certification process projects resulting in resolution of technical issues
Contribute to/Lead strategic projects leaning out our certification system and executing those plans through completion
Manage operational initiatives/projects/deliverables that support the overall certification system
Develop/Have technical aptitude to assist in execution of process/procedure documents (BPM, BPIs, D6s, D950s, etc.) with potential for ownership
Gather, analyze and propose solutions to issues where large amounts of data are available
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3 years of experience working directly with the FAA and/or ODA on type Certification projects
3 years of experience in developing and/or contributing to processes, policies, and procedures
3 years of experience with government certification processes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
10 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working within a certification value stream
Experience communicating verbally and in writing, to a variety of audiences including FAA representation, ODA Leadership, Engineering Unit Members (E-UM) & Project Administrators (PA), and Program & Functional Leaders
Systems thinker capable of making proposals based on data analysis and forecasting wide reaching and longer-term impacts
Experience investigating and finding solutions to complex technical or regulatory issues
Experience recognizing and balance conflicting priorities

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
