Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist (mid level) for the Oklahoma City Programs. This is a critical skill for one of Boeing’s fastest growing sites, Oklahoma City. In this position, you will be involved in the grassroots of new programs and delivering new capabilities to the war fighter.
This position may be called upon to support any of the programs located at the Oklahoma City site including legacy bombers, tankers, command and control aircraft, as well as national and international executive aircraft.
Primary Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Supports preparation, development and coordination of an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements.
- Assists with the development of program plans, schedules and coordinates with affected organizations, documents work statements and resulting schedules.
- Supports the integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners of moderate complexity.
- Identifies and reports performance variances.
- Participates in the review of proposed changes to the baseline.
Export Control:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in fast paced environment with a multi-faceted team
- Experience in a team lead role delegating responsibilities among several teammates
- Experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
Typical Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
