The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Project Management Specialist (Level 3) to support BCA Flight Operations Performance Training and Airport Operations Engineering team based in Seal Beach, California!

Flight Operations Engineering Training team is responsible for providing airplane performance training to flight operations engineers, flight crews, and dispatchers at our customer airlines to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

The Airport Operations Engineering (AOE) team is responsible to assure that Boeing airplanes are compatible with and have access to the worlds airport, strive for airport regulations that are equitable and achievable for Boeing aircraft, ensure that new airplane design requirements result in minimal aircraft/airport constraints, minimize airport limitations/restrictions on our aircraft and provide airplane programs support. Position Responsibilities:

• Project manager for team’s special projects; coordinate with Boeing IT support teams.

• Project management of Airport Operations activities

• Coordinate customer inquiries

• Logistical support activities for training classes - handle course registration requests and final enrollment confirmations

• Process badging, nameplates, catering, certificates, student supplies, and other class administrative tasks

• Deliver introductory presentation on the first day of each class and conduct cafeteria tour

• Point of Contact for classroom scheduling

• Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

• Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• AA degree in a related discipline

• 3 years of experience developing communication plans including stakeholder analysis, communication strategies, and key message development

• 3 years of experience of proven effective written and verbal communicating 

• 3 years of experience in customer training

• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of project management experience

• Knowledgeable of Boeing Commercial Airplanes products

• Experience with various online learning products

• Foreign language fluency

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary pay range: $93,000 – $101,000
